About ASCA Tech Lab

The Background

From Japan, To the Future

The future economic growth potential is expected to be around 4-5%, according to the “Economic Outlook for Emerging Asia (Supplemental Version) (July 2022)” released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This is despite the impact of each country’s financial policies and the pandemic.

However, when we compare the speed of economic development, there are not sufficient opportunities for technical students enrolled in top universities in these countries to receive career education with hands-on experience or to learn and experience future career development.

On the other hand, with Japan’s declining birth rate, there is an expectation of fewer young workers in the future, which is a significant social problem.

This is why we provide Asian university students with opportunities for hands-on learning in Japan and contribute to young people’s training and career development by providing them with knowledge and ideas that are useful for interacting with businesses in the real world.

ASCA Tech Lab will train Asian science students to become the pioneer of Society 5.0, especially in engineering, IoT, and wellness leaders through technology in Japan or their home countries after graduation.

Our Concept

Achieve More, Together

Joint training and education programs by industrial leaders from Asian countries, university experts, and Japanese industrialists.

The training and education program was developed in collaboration with industry leaders from Asian countries, academics from top Asian universities, and Japanese companies who desire to grow their businesses in the Asia and global markets. The program is designed to help young people who lead the next generation create a vision of their future careers in which they can reach across national borders, develop their expertise and skills to respond to social issues, and build their independence and personalities.
